WINNING PATH HOLIDAY POSTER TO BE UNVEILED TOMORROW


This year's winning PATH holiday poster -- chosen from more than 300 submitted by Jersey City elementary school students -- will be unveiled at 11 A.M. tomorrow, December 2, on the PATH Concourse at the Journal Square Transportation Center.

Steven Santander, who created this pastoral artwork showing a serene winter holiday scene, is a Jersey City resident and a fifth-grade student at the Cornelia F. Bradford School, P.S. 16.

Following a performance from Madison Square Garden's production of A Christmas Carol, the ceremonial hanging of the winning poster on a PATH train will take place at Journal Square Station's Platform 4 at 11:30 A.M.

Steven and his family will be joined by officials of the Jersey City Public Schools and PATH, including PATH Director and General Manager Michael P. DePallo.
