PATH'S JOURNAL SQUARE TRANSPORTATION CENTER TO HOST SPOOKY HALLOWEEN BASH FOR YOUNGSTERS

Dozens of pint-sized witches, princesses, goblins and pirates will transform PATH's Journal Square Transportation Center in Jersey City into a spooky Halloween playland on Tuesday, October 31, to help youngsters celebrate the holiday.

The seventh annual Halloween bash begins at 3 P.M. Children age 10 and under accompanied by an adult are welcome. Costumes for children are encouraged but not required.

During the party, Port Authority Police will be available to, if requested, photograph and fingerprint children for safety purposes. A magic show, music, face painting, appearances by Mickey Mouse, Blue's Clues and Pikachu, and other activities will entertain the children.

"We are pleased to once again provide a safe and fun-filled haven for area schoolchildren to enjoy the spirit of Halloween in a safe atmosphere," said PATH Director/General Manager Michael P. DePallo.
