TRAFFIC ADVISORY -- Construction at George Washington Bridge's Palisades Interstate Parkway Toll Plaza Ramp to Begin Tuesday


The Port Authority will close the ramp connecting the George Washington Bridge's Palisades Interstate Parkway toll plaza to Hudson Terrace and other local streets in New Jersey on Tuesday, October 27. The ramp also allows motorists traveling south on the Palisades Parkway to exit to local streets before reaching the toll plaza.

The closing, which is expected to last about three weeks, is necessary so that the agency can make improvements to the roadway, including new curbs, guide rails and pavement.

During this period, travelers should follow detour signs or consider alternate routes. Any delays are expected to be minor.
