JERSEY CITY YOUNGSTER WINS PATH HOLIDAY POSTER CONTEST FOR SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR

A Jersey City sixth grader maintained his winning touch by capturing top honors for the second consecutive year in PATH's holiday poster contest.

The winning poster - produced by Stephen Santander of the Academy I School - will be unveiled at a special award presentation to take place Monday, December 6, on the PATH platform at the Journal Square Transportation Center.

After the unveiling, the poster will be ceremoniously installed in a decorated PATH car at the Journal Square station, located below the transportation center on Kennedy Boulevard between Pavonia and Sip Avenues in Jersey City.

The poster will be seen eventually in PATH cars throughout the system during the holiday season.

Mr. Santander and the second and third place winners will be honored by PATH Director Michael DePallo and Jersey City Public School representatives.

Mr. Santander will receive four tickets to the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular and round-trip PATH QuickCards for the trip to and from Manhattan. The other winners will receive tickets to "A Christmas Carol" at Madison Square Garden.

The Madison Square Garden singers will entertain customers at the Journal Square Station as part of the celebration.
