GOV. PATAKI TO ANNOUNCE AID FOR STATEN ISLAND PORT; WILL VISIT HOWLAND HOOK THURSDAY, OCT. 8 AT 1 P.M.
Governor George E. Pataki will announce significant new investments to the Howland Hook Container Terminal during a visit to the Staten Island cargo port on Thursday, October 8 at 1 P.M. Joining the Governor will be Staten Island Borough President Guy Molinari, New York City EDC President Charles Millard and Port Authority Executive Director Robert E. Boyle.
Directions: Staten Island Expressway to Western Avenue exit. Turn right onto Western Avenue, go under railroad trestle, and turn left into Howland Hook (located near the Goethals Bridge).
