TRAFFIC ADVISORY -- BAYONNE BRIDGE TO BE CLOSED FOR FOOTRACE


The Bayonne Bridge will be closed to traffic in both directions for one hour Sunday morning, November 21, for the First Annual Bayonne Bridge 5-mile Benefit Run for the Bayonne Economic Opportunity Foundation meals-on-wheels program.

The bridge will be closed between 7:30 to 8:30 A.M. Motorists who plan to travel during that time are advised to use the Goethals Bridge or the Outerbridge Crossing.

For up-to-date information on lane closings at Port Authority Bridges and Tunnels, motorists can call the Port Authority's "Customer Connection" at 800-221-9903 (TTY: 800 733-8899) or check its Web site at www.panynj.gov.
