NEWARK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO HOLD CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAY


Newark International Airport will mark the 70 years of its history at a special "Customer Appreciation Day," taking place tomorrow, Thursday, October 1.

The Port Authority, several airlines and other airport tenants will provide photo exhibits, gifts, refreshments and musical entertainment at various airport locations throughout the day to thank customers for choosing Newark Airport.

Built by the City of Newark, the airport opened on October 1, 1928. It has been operated by The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey since March 22, 1948.
