TAKE PATH TO THE N.Y. YANKEES TICKERTAPE PARADE Extra Service to Be Provided Following Morning Rush Hour

PATH will provide additional service on Friday, October 29, to accommodate fans attending the tickertape parade for the New York Yankees, scheduled to begin at noon on lower Broadway.

PATH will extend morning rush-hour service - with trains running approximately every five minutes - as long as necessary to accommodate fans traveling to the parade. Under normal schedules, morning rush hour service would end at 9:16, at which time trains operate every 10 minutes.

"We realize that PATH is the quickest and most convenient way for some fans to get to the parade, and we will do everything we can to make sure we accommodate them," said PATH Director/General Manager Michael P. DePallo.
