SPOOKTACULAR HALLOWEEN EXTRAVAGANZA PLANNED FOR PATH'S JOURNAL SQUARE TRANSPORTATION CENTER

Dozens of pint-sized witches, princesses, goblins and pirates will transform PATH's Journal Square Transportation Center in Jersey City into a spooky Halloween playland on Friday, October 29, to help kick off the city's holiday celebration.

The sixth annual Halloween bash begins at 3 P.M. Children age 10 and under accompanied by an adult are as welcome as the pumpkins in October. Costumes for children are encouraged but not required.

During the party, Port Authority Police will be available to, if requested, photograph and fingerprint children for safety purposes. A magic show, music provided by The Infernos, face painting, a costume contest, and other activities will be provided to entertain the children.

"This party is an initiative we undertake each year to become more involved with the communities we serve," said PATH Director/General Manager Michael P. DePallo. "We are pleased to provide this fun-filled, safe atmosphere for children to enjoy the holiday."
