PATH Community Connection

The PATH Community Connection program offers several avenues to engage with the public.

PATHursday was established in 1987 to foster direct communication with the public.

PATH Education Series  (PES) is a new initiative to increase educational outreach by offering year-round sessions for riders to learn about key functions and projects.

PATH Riders' Council is a new program that enables a standing advisory group to meet year-round to ensure riders have a voice in system design and operations decision-making. The PRC will have a one year pilot phase with an inaugural convening in July of 2014. The PRC is currently accepting applications.

The Port Authority considers PATH a part of the communities it serves. PATH strives to be a good neighbor to our friends – PATH riders, local residents, and elected officials – in the Ironbound in Newark, along Jersey City’s waterfront, down Hoboken’s cobbled streets, and everywhere in between.
